This international corporation is an exciting global manufacturer that has a promising future. Their current revenues are 1.8 billion US dollars and their Americas Division has been growing at a rate of 20% for the last 10 years. In the Southwest suburbs of Chicago they have a total of 3 locations and expect to grow this facility further. While this is the flagship plant for the Americas, the strategy is for it to become the flagship plant for the global group.
They have 200 employees operating on 3 shifts, 7 days a week and while the management team is quite good, they need a local HR manager to continue their development as leaders and to support the development and execution of their long and short term strategy.
This position will be the first HR position located away from Corporate. There are 7 manufacturing sites in the US today and they will expand their operations through 2010. There are 4 manufacturing sites in Canada with an HR team of 4 that report into the Director. The Director manages Puerto Rico, Argentina, and Venezuela from Corporate.
The Director of HR will let you run with this. She needs someone who can think and hit the ground running. They hire dynamic people with an entrepreneurial attitude. With the growth of this company there are bound to be future opportunities.
