Some of your essential tasks will include development and implementation of departmental plans to meet plant wide objectives for safety/quality/productivity & cost. Cascade the goal planning process to your direct reports and follow up with regular team meetings. Learn, teach and lead by example LEAN continuous improvement and problem solving techniques.
